Description

What is the purpose of this booklet?

We are not offering a magic cure, nor promising to erase pain. We are opening a path:

  • to understanding—so you do not feel that you are losing your mind;
  • to naming what is happening—so you do not keep circling in uncertainty;
  • to care—so you know where to begin.

We believe that knowledge can be liberating, and that naming the experience is the first step toward healing.

This booklet is for you if:

  • you hear an explosion in your mind even after the surroundings become quiet;
  • you cannot sleep because an image will not leave your eyes;
  • you suddenly cry without knowing why;
  • or you feel you are “supposed to be happy you survived”—but you are still sad.

This is called survivor’s guilt, and we will explain it later.

🌿 We are not writing to you from an ivory tower. We write to you while you are in the field, at home, in a tent, in a clinic, at school, on the front line, or waiting for what comes next.
