Recovery Strategies
EGP0.00
A free practical booklet to help you understand distress after traumatic experiences, name what you are feeling, and begin caring for yourself.
Description
What is the purpose of this booklet?
We are not offering a magic cure, nor promising to erase pain. We are opening a path:
- to understanding—so you do not feel that you are losing your mind;
- to naming what is happening—so you do not keep circling in uncertainty;
- to care—so you know where to begin.
We believe that knowledge can be liberating, and that naming the experience is the first step toward healing.
This booklet is for you if:
- you hear an explosion in your mind even after the surroundings become quiet;
- you cannot sleep because an image will not leave your eyes;
- you suddenly cry without knowing why;
- or you feel you are “supposed to be happy you survived”—but you are still sad.
This is called survivor’s guilt, and we will explain it later.
🌿 We are not writing to you from an ivory tower. We write to you while you are in the field, at home, in a tent, in a clinic, at school, on the front line, or waiting for what comes next.
